Favorite fashion brand/designer: I look at quality first, then the brand name, as most of the times the name is the guarantee of quality. I use to like conservative styles from Ralph Lauren, AK Anne Klein, Jones New York, sometimes even Liz Claiborne. After stepping into 40s, I start looking at younger styles in DKNY. Guess, Tommy Hilfiger and hope that will make me look younger. Even though I still believe for women in 40s, the most important thing is maturity. Burberry is my dream and favorite, although I don’t have even one thing from Burberry. 

Favorite shoe brand: Stuart Weitzman, Just Cavalli, ECCO, Geox, Hush Puppis, Nine West, Feet First, Guess (Guess shoes are not very comfortable, but nice style to go to special occasions) 

Favorite beauty product: Clarins Eye Cream, cleanser and tonic lotion, Nevea cleanser, AHAVA cleanser, Exfoliate and Eye Cream, Since I have acne-prone skin, I use a lot anti-blemish moisturizer and night cream 

Favorite piece of clothing: my Chinese dress (Qi Pao), especial the one with half red and half green. It was one of the top 10 awards winners in a Qi Pao competition in 2004 in China. 

I can’t live without: Foundation, I like the water-based liquid foundation from Make Up Forever 

Favorite night spot/hang out: I have no time to hang out, only go to events in the Community. I would go to a good Chinese restaurant with friends if I had time. 

What inspires me to dress in this particular style? Simple but sophisticate. You will never go wrong with combination of Black and Red. The Gant black sleeveless dress has very good quality and is well-tailored. It is easy to match with almost everything, practical for someone who has a busy schedule. The red MEXX cardigan brightens up my skin tone. The conservative brown leather bracelet Gucci watch matched with a pair of brown Coach shoes prove the importance of quality. And I lighten up the whole style with a necklace from a more youthful inspired Armani line, Emporio Armani. 

What does my style say about my personality? Conservative but versatile 

Where do I like to shop the most? I like shopping at Winners. It is an off price store. You may find very good designer cloth at a much lower price, if you go very often and take your time looking through all the stuff, which is a part of shopping that I enjoy a lot. 

The best thing I bought/worst?

Best: A set of Pant Suit (Shinny golden color) from German cloth company KS. A Gucci watch, a pair of YSL Sunglasses and a pair of Just Cavalli dress boots.

Worst: Cerruti Sunglasses. Before wearing, I washed them with hot water as I usually do with all the other sunglasses. The screen that’s glued on the glasses came off and wrinkled.
