Finally! The perfect foundation color!

I would like to say that for the first time in my life, I found a foundation that literally disappeared into my skin and it came in the shade of Bamboo from Zhen Beauty. And the cherry on my cake? The foundation was light, offered good coverage and lasted all day.

That said, when our participants tried Zhen's foundation at our first workshop, the same wonderful thing happened to all 12 participants: the shades were a perfect match. This was reflected in their admiring smiles and their enthusiasm to take samples home to try some more.

I did some research online too to see what others have to say about Zhen foundation and many of the reviews are the same as mine. Those that were negative had allergic reactions to the product, so a general lesson learned for makeup skin products- try it before you buy a big bottle of it because as with anything, you may be allergic.

The nice thing about Zhen is that you can get samples for 5$ and these are real samples (not 2 drops that you can try just on your chin). These are samples that you can probably use for a few days so that you don't commit to a full bottle until you know that it really suits you.

One other thing that I found in the negative reviews  was regarding the packaging. Zhen foundation comes in a simple bottle, no dispenser, no pump. I actually like that about Zhen. The packaging is simple and if I don't want to waste any product, I simply leave it upside down for the day and I'll be sure not to waste a drop. That's also probably why the foundation is at a more competitive price (about 20$USD) because it spends less money on packaging and more focus on the product itself.

All in all, I'd say the pros way outweigh the cons.

-If you have yellow undertones in your skin, you will find a perfect color match with your skin
-The foundation is light
-The foundation lasts long
