The Dynamic Duo of Eyeliner- Laura Mercier's eye liner and flat eye liner brush

Honestly, this is my best beauty secret. It will make you look at liquid eyeliner in a completely new light. Once you try this, I am sure you do not want to use anything else. For those of you who are coming to our makeup event, you will have a chance to try this product. Okay, now let me tell you what I look for in a liquid eyeliner:

Smudge free and long lasting: I want to apply it in the Moring, and not have to worry about it at the end of the day.

Thin or Thick lines as I wish: For day time, to be very natural, I want to be able to create a line as thin as possible, and as close to my lash line as possible. A typical eyeliner is usually very dark and thick. For evening look, I want be create a thicker line for a more dramatic look.

Mistake and dummy proof: This is very important. And it is probably the number one reason why people don’t use liquid eyeliner. For me, I don’t have time to master it. I want to buy a product, go home and use it right away, not in 3 months down the line.

•  Smudge free and long lasting: I seriously do it once in the Moring, and just forget about it the whole day. Because I KNOW it is still there. Once I was so tired and passed out on my bed without taking out my makeup. No joking, the next Moring my eyeliner was still intact. However, you would need a good makeup remover. I recommend a good cleansing oil. It removes the toughest waterproof eye makeup and is gentle for your eyes with lots of other benefits. Actually I have a lot to say about makeup removers. • Thin or Thick lines as I wish: You must buy the brush. This is how the magic happens. You first wet the brush by either run the brush under a water faucet or spray it with a water sprayer(get it? liquid eye liner :) ), then you brush it on the eye liner palette. This will liquefy the eyeliner and get the eyeliner onto your brush. If you want a more nature look, try to get just a little bit eyeliner on your brush. And the opposite if you want a more dramatic look. To apply, just dot across your lash line. The brush is so thin, you can precisely control how thin and thick the line you want to creat

• Mistake and dummy proof: Remember, don't brush, just keep dotting until you complete your lash line. Trust me, anyone can dot, but not everyone can brush. Dotting is just a matter of press the brush on the skin, but for brushing, you would need to hold your hand steady to control the line. Every time I show it to my friends, they are amazed and impressed at how easy it is to use.
