The Web for Asian Women on Makeup
Always wondered where all the useful and helpul makeup guides are for the Asian face? I mean, there are makeup experts and there are makeup experts for the Asian- someone who understands our skin tone and our facial structure. I've tried letting makeup artists at various cosmetic counters do my makeup and I must say, I always come out looking a bit too pasty or I suffer from the panda-eye effect. Well, thank goodness for the internet and the freedom and diversity of blogs and youtube channels :) Good references and guides are a bit difficult to find as you sift through hundreds and hundreds of websites and youtube channels but every once in a while you do find a gem. And Orientelle loves finding those gems and introducing them to you!
I must say, our favorite gems are found on youtube. As they say, a picture, or in our case, a video says a thousand words and that's how we feel about an actual video demonstration. I've been checking out a lot of stuff online and there's quite a few online stores for skincare and makeup! This whole looking up cosmetics is making me spend $$ >_< I landed on this eskincare store site that seems really good so I'm waiting for a shipment next week. I'm gonna do a post about these online stores, Mac even has a live chat for cosmetic advising!! And it works!
