About Us
Welcome to Canada’s first online community for Asian women!
Created by Theany Chan, Orientelle is her vision of a place where Asian-Canadian women from across the country can communicate and identify with each other. In her own words, "Asian women are under-represented in the media and are under-served in the marketplace. We are hoping to change that and of course, have fun at the same time!"
Orientelle is a fusion of two words, Orient and Elle (meaning “she” in French), and like its name, the site is a fusion of the modern Asian woman’s thoughts, interests and ideas.
